Purpose among Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivors

Thanks to a host of medical advances, adolescents today are increasingly likely to survive a cancer diagnosis. But then what? Research to date has largely focused on the well-being of child and adult cancer survivors, but it has not been as focused on helping adolescent and young adult cancer survivors thrive. This study explores the role of purpose among this population. With the generous support of HopeLab, work on this project has focused on devising interventions to help adolescent and young adult cancer survivors discover and pursue purposes in life.
